Does the size of the school or community matter? Often our Traffic Safety events will combine several schools in smaller and more rural towns. Our events are flexible and we can work to create the best format & timing that works best for your event.

We want to start an ongoing conversation about impacting traffic safety at your school and in your community. We love bringing our Teen Traffic Safety Day events to you…but we don’t want your traffic safety work to begin and end with us. We want to empower your school/club/community to layer traffic safety messages into what you all the time. Science shows us that we have to talk/listen/learn something a minimum of 7 times before it is incorporated into our brains….we can help you plan to ensure the traffic safety messages keep going after your traffic safety day is done.

Oklahoma Challenge has been in the traffic safety and teen empowerment field since 1982 and we have trained tens of THOUSANDS of students on the importance of traffic safety. Our Teen Traffic Safety Day is an interactive, fun, educational event, bringing all the activities, and all you do is bring the young people.

Our goal is to reduce traffic crash deaths and injuries across the state focusing on novice drivers.  Our website has a plethora of resources to help continue this conversation year round and all kinds of contests with possibilities to earn dollars for your clubs and again, most importantly, SAVE LIVES!

As you may know, traffic crashes are the #1 cause of death for students ages 16-24. We like to educate the way we like to learn….hands on! Here is how a typical Oklahoma Challenge Traffic Safety Day is structured:

Distracted driving presentation with a power point - presenting to large group of students in an auditorium area with screen and projector if possible.

Booth area – Fun, informative, interactional booths many with give-aways for the students. Inside where paper won’t be flying away in the wind

Outside area -Includes hands-on large activities, semi-trucks, energy equipment, mule and cones, roll-over simulator, text wrecked car, etc.

Students rotate through our booths and our outside activities. All students get to experience all the activities and stay busy and engaged the whole time! Each event is unique based on the location, # of students and the # of partners that are able to join us.
