PROMISE ZERO.O PLEDGE SIGNING
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ACTIVITY, YOU MUST SIGN UP TO RECEIVE THE FREE TEENS IN THE DRIVER SEAT RESOURCE KIT @ www.t-driver.com.
This activity will help your team bring awareness to the dangers of impaired driving and help encourage your peers to speak up for safety and promise to always drive sober.
Create a banner out of butcher paper with a message asking your peers to promise to never drive impaired. Make sure you leave space for your peers to sign around your message. Come up with your own wording or use one of these suggestions:
· PROMISE ZERO.O – I promise to keep my BAC ZER0.0
· PROMISE ZERO.O – Zero Tolerance means ZERO DRINKING
· PROMISE ZERO.O – I promise to always drive sober
Hand out I DRIVE O.O stickers (that you received in your TDS resource kit) to anyone who signs the banner. At the conclusion of your activity, post your banner in a high-traffic area on your campus to remind your peers of their commitment to never drive impaired. This activity pairs well with the SPEAK (C)UP activity.
Don’t forget to complete an activity form on www.t-driver.com for TDS All-Star credit.
IT IS PERMISSIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN BOTH OKLAHOMA CHALLENGE AND THE TDS ALL-STAR REWARD PROGRAM.
Is This Activity Online, In-person, or both: IN PERSON
Cost: Free
Point Value: 200
