Oklahoma County Sheriff - Impaired Driving Experiences
PLAN NOW to schedule these NEW ACTIVITIES from our favoriteOHSO/Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Department Deputies!
OHSO/Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Department Deputies travel the whole state! They offer both outdoor activities (Mule with cone obstacles and rollover simulator) or hands on activities for the indoors if the weather isn’t appropriate for outdoors.
Danger in Every Step Alcohol Impairment Activity Mats used in conjunction with the impaired goggles.
The mats depict several common obstacles that can become hazards for a person under the influence of alcohol. A dose of Reality! Promotes conversations and feedback from participants. Obstacles include balcony Dangers, Winding Sidewalk, Stairs Challenge and a Roadside Sobriety Test.
Smash Match Impairment Challenge used in conjunction with the impaired goggles.
A hands-on activity that clearly demonstrates the impact of impairment on judgement and reaction time. Alcohol impairs the ability to accomplish even the simplest of tasks-it can be difficult to understand just how much without seeing it firsthand. Participants work with the instructor to develop strategies to prevent impaired driving and promote sober driving.
